Scholarship Program
Many children from the poorest of families in Vietnam, often do not end up with a very high education. The reason is usually because they can not afford the school fees and supplies that are required. The purpose of this project is to assist children from really poor families to get an education. We support 30 kids.
Helping A Mother & Child
Through a friend we met this lady who was due to have a baby but had some complications. She needed a caesarean section to deliver the child but was turned away because she could not afford it. We were able to help with the cost and she had a handsome baby boy. Thankfully, both mother and baby are doing well.
Sewing Machine Project
One thing needed among those suffering from the effects of poverty is vocational training and an opportunity to work. One project we completed in the past was to purchase sewing machines to be used for vocational training as well as to provide an opportunity for the less fortunate in Vietnam to work.
Cow Purchase
Through a friend, we heard of a single parent home with a mother trying to provide for her family as well as care for her disabled son. To help the family, we purchased a cow for them. This helped provide some additional income The mother really appreciated the gift and could not hold back the tears.
